Hi Rev Wong,

I am not in a cyber bar at Ang Xi. We checked into San Teck Hotel this afternoon and stay the night here. We shall head 4 Quan Zhou tomorrow. It is a touch-and-go since we started the journey on 17.9.08 from K.K. to Shen Zhen, stayed overnight there, left 4 Zhao Zhou the next day(visited Han Yu Memorial Temple - remember him? He was remembered 4 his deed in chasing the cocrodice to Thailand)) on the way, headed 4 Yong Chun (stayed 1 night) and now in Ang Xi 4 the night. It is truly a God-send experience and I am enjoying every minute of my trip. China has developed and progressed fast, but what I see is far from satisfactory. There is still a lot to be done, especially in the villages. There is not proper town planning whereas individual houses are built unevenly and presents a very poor eye-sight to visitors.

So far what impresses me most was the visit to Han Yu Memorial Temple. Shen Zhen is a concrete jungle. If this is what China is heading for, I am afraid to say that I do not see any future for the Chinese.

Well, we shall meet up with my relatives in Xiamen in a couple of days and hope to experience more surprises on the way.

When shall I visit Singapore? Soon, I hope. My last trip was a trip of vegetatian foods...
